THE SECT - THE FALCONS - THE 4 7/8ths
[rock band days]

My miss spent youth; there is no better way to describe it, as my friend Mick Jones said. The swinging 60’s it sure was, just a fabulous period for a teen to be a part of.
I was in three pop groups, but I think rock bands sound far better, & more appropriate in this day & age. The Sect was my starting point, and these were the learning years. The Falcons came next, and that was truly the fun year, & latterly called the New Falcons. Then came the fabulous 4 7/8th and I was so pleased to be a part of this great local band. There were big boots to fill, but I fully enjoyed my time with them; thanks Roger. You can find a lot more about two of these groups in Mike Reads book, “The South Coast Beat Scene of the 60’s”.
I never stopped playing/composing from that day on; in fact there are some recent pix that I decided to put in of this ancient rocker in Canada, with my buddy Ron Kingerski

Update on the Sect [girls] from band member Rod Woodhatch. Rod & I were chatting at a friends 60th recently, & has corrected the names of the girls for me. Thanks Rod. Sorry ladies, & if any of you see this site, please contact me.
